CADE Winery, the latest project from PlumpJack, is located in the heart of scenic Howell Mountain in Angwin, CA about 12 miles from PlumpJack Winery. Perched on a 54 acre hillside at nearly 1,800 feet of elevation, CADE is comprised of 21 planted acres of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot vines.

The property will produce three wines: CADE Estate Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain (made from the 19 acres of Cabernet vines at the winery), CADE Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain (from grapes purchased from small artisan growers in the Howell Mountain Appellation) and a small production of CADE Sauvignon Blanc.

CADE's first release is the 2006 CADE Sauvignon Blanc and CADE's first Cabernet Sauvignon will be available in spring 2008.

The development of CADE Winery began in June 2006 with the construction of a nearly 15,000 square foot cave. The construction of the adjoining winery and separate hospitality building is scheduled for completion in summer 2008.
